Over the weekend, users reported the same pattern: videos about ICE activity, immigration raids, and the Minneapolis shooting wouldn’t upload, got stuck “under review,” or suddenly showed zero views. Some creators said their posts were marked “ineligible for recommendation.” Others said their accounts were restricted or briefly suspended. And because this all happened right as TikTok’s U.S. operation flipped into a new ownership structure, the suspicion spread fast.
