Half of Project 2025 Is Already Law. The Next Draft Is Chilling

Project 2025 was never a thought experiment. A year into Trump’s second term, trackers say the administration has already implemented roughly half of its agenda through executive orders, staffing, and agency restructuring. Now we know where that story goes next: the Heritage Foundation’s “Saving America by Saving the Family,” which argues the state should “restore the family home,” redefine marriage as “the committed union of one man and one woman,” and build a “whole of government” framework that measures policies by whether they serve “family formation.”
